40oz Hyena, born August 19th 1984, in Littleton, New Hampshire, is the fursona of Mishka Zakhaev Muramcaev, the son of Chechen Jewish and Portuguese parents and raised of the Orthodox Jewish faith.
40oz discovered the furry fandom at the age of thirteen via the Internet and has been a very active member of the furry fandom since then. 40oz Hyena at one point went by the name of Kropotka Hyena and produced a bit of artwork under this name, although for some time, denied he was Kropotka, and then admitted that he was after numerous people claimed that he was, claiming he had denied it because he had just got kind of burnt out on the furry art scene.
After awhile he took on the namesake 40oz, or Forty Ounce, due to his fondness for 40 ounce bottles of malt liquor. His favorite being King Cobra. His obviously alcohol related name, and the fact that he appears at functions often inebriated, has earned him a bit of a reputation as an alcoholic. 40oz does not deny this allegation at all, and in fact, seems to be quite proud of it. Despite the social and health risks associated with alcoholism.
At age 17, 40oz ran away from home and has been traveling since then. He has lived in many places such as Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and every state on the Eastern seaboard. He is currently residing in Florida. He attends conventions and furry gatherings regularly and is usually seen wearing either a black suit and tie or a black teeshirt with a smiley face on it. He is best known for a tan and black shemagh that he is nearly always wearing.
Aside from that, he has quite a few tattoos. Although he is best known for having his namesake, ' 40oz ' tattooed on the knuckles of his left hand. Aside from that, he has Banzai, one of the hyenas from the lion king, on his stomach and has hyena spots tattooed down the back of his neck and back, as well as quite a few other tattoos and piercings.

40oz Hyena is the alleged leader of the group LOLFurries, although he, as well as others, occasionally deny this. There have also been some who claim that 40oz is also a member and/or the leader of an LOLfurries splinter group known as The Infurgency, although 40oz denies these allegations. He has received a large amount of criticism due do his appearance in a mock PSA directed towards babyfurs, with the video getting over 800 views in a few days.
