Alyn Gryphon

Alyn Gryphon aka Shanta-Ra is a furry artist who draws a variety of fantasy Egyptian-style art. He prefers to draw furries and other special humanoids in what he calls the "Celestial" style, making his humanoid foxes, kangaroos and other characters resemble sleek, colorful, silky, and iridescent god-like beings whose art style resembles a mix of Egyptian, Hindu and Disney style animation. His art subjects are often edgy and explore strange new worlds and possibilities and relationships between humans and fantastic beings, as well as the dark and alien, such as the C-snakes, which he also invented. He is also obsessed with educating the world about the importance of understanding the usefulness of ordinary animal's extraordinary ability to scent pheromones, electrostatic brain energy and bacterial emissions. The artist hopes to make more people aware of the capabilities of the Vomeronasal organ and Turbinates found inside the snouts of animals like dogs, deer, and snakes. In his more recent comics, he tries to include and demonstrate how far more honest, direct, and different the life style would be of humanoid animals, especially with the natural ability to scent lies, truth, any illness, and ALL other people's scent's left on one's body, as well as their amazing ability to follow scent trails, even with just a fraction of the ability of the common German Shepherd.

His characters include Mad Dr Griff, a demented Gryphon with a penchant for crazy science devices and mad science experimentation; and Shanta-Ra, a crazy, British, Man-eating, Egyptian Jackal who enjoys tea, blue berry scones, and the victims he 'guides' into the afterlife whenever he gets too carried away.
