Austrofurs are furries living in Austria.

Numerous furmeets, usually only one or two days long, have been held primarily in Wien, Graz and Steyr, some of them for events such as the Donauinselfest.
A furmeet in a mountain cottage, held over an extended weekend (usually over Pentecost), is called FurryAlpin. So far it has been held thrice (2003, 2004 and 2005).
The largest convention in Austria was a silvester party over new year 2007/2008 at Unterach am Attersee, organized by Nauna, with 27 participants.
Lakeside Furs is held annually in summer at the Grundlsee, with 40 booked places.
