Bob Guthrie

Bob Guthrie (full name Robert Manuel Guthrie Alvarez; born 1964) is a American born, European raised artist whose funny animal art style has been a point of interest to the furry community from the early 1990s. Some of work appeared in The American Journal of Anthropomorphics issue 1 (pages 9-14) and issue 2 (pages 37-42).
A self-taught modern and classic arts illustrator, he has worked in various media fields in Illustration, Graphic Designer, Computer 2D/3D Design, Cartooning and Animation, with the last one in the sub-fields of Animation Character Design and Background Illustrator.
As of 2007, he lives at the Hotel Yorba household in Orange County, California, U.S.A., with artists Steve Martin and Doug Winger, and does professional product design and development for toy companies. He has also worked for WB consumer products & marketing and his artwork is being published in an upcoming book on Looney Toons art.
He worked on the design of the 1997 USPS/WBCP Bugs Bunny stamp, for which he was congratulated by the Postmaster General, along with the rest of the WBCP project staff, for his work on it. He would assist on the next two stamps of the series, Daffy Duck, and Sylvester and Tweety.
