Camstone Fox is a red fox fur living in the vicinity of Washington, D. C., United States. He prefers not to share specific details about his day-to-day profession. However his wife, MooiVos, (Dutch for Pretty Vixen) refers to him happily as her "horseback riding rocket scientist." He was widowed in 2003 when his wife, Jenna, succumbed to complications related to the disease diabetes. His is now a happy and proud father as of December 2007.

Camstone is a fursuiter and a regular attendee of Anthrocon, RCFM, MFF, and MFM since 1999. He was selected as the RCFM art show chair in 2007 and is the RCFM programming chairman for 2008, and was inducted into the RCFM Mission Control Board of Directors after their convention in 2008. He started and maintains the Northern Virginia Fur, or NoVAFur local group email list, along with fellow moderator Tango. He also actively participates in various Furry Christian Panels as a moderator, as well as many scientific transformational panels at various conventions. He also speaks on a regular basis at conventions related to his employment as a scientist and manager. He also made recording his answering of the door on Halloween 2006 in fursuit, a youtube experience.

Camstone is often depicted as an anthropomorphic Scottish red fox with his whiskers waxed and combed into the shape of a mustache and coined the term "whiskerstache." He sometimes wears a tam o'shanter cap, tartan kilt, and a sporran. Alternately, and as perhaps best known, he wears a red business suit or Zoot suit. He has been depicted in both plantigrade and digigrade legs. He has had guest appearances in the webcomics Mountain Poutine and Suburban Jungle.
