Conventions are organized events where members of the furry fandom tend to congregate, often in large numbers on an annual basis. While there are a few conventions in Europe, Asia, and Australasia, most take place in North America because that is where the largest number of furry fans reside.

For smaller furmeets, and other events without either significant organized residence or dealerships, there is a separate category for parties.
