Cub
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
A cub is a preadolescent mammal, usually ursine or feline. Cub has come to be a generic term for furry children. However, if you want to refer to a child of a species whose young are usually called something other than cub, it's probably a good idea to call them by their standard title. Young canines should be pups, young foxes should be kits, etc.
[edit] Legal issues
Even if cub pornography is not related to real child pornography, some image boards like Fchan have strictly prohibited to post cub art or even to discuss about it. Users who break this term are being permanently banned. This is debatable because there is no law that explicitly forbids cub art and there are only interpretations of the existing law. It is worth noting that, if cub art were fully illegal, it would be unlikely that a publication available for purchase would not encounter serious legal issues getting their product into the hands of their customers.
Also, there is no distinct boundary at which age an anthro is declared as a child and in which age it is an adult. This is especially challenging for fantasy type creatures like taurs, griffons, and dragons.
