The Fandom's Favorite Fursuit Fracas is a tournament for fursuits, organized by Exile Huscoon and Rhett Foxcoon. Created to showcase different fursuiters and fursuit makers that may not be as well known to the public, voting is performed on the LiveJournal community fursuittourney. Voting between nominated fursuits is carried out via a bracket format, with polls usually scheduled on Monday and Thursday afternoons.

As the contestants are fursuits and not fursuiters, several suiters have entered two or more of their own suits into the competiton, provided they nominate an equal amount of suits that they do not own; Magnus Diridian nominated 23 of his fursuits in this manner for the 2008 tournament.^[1]

Entrants are assigned to 16 different "regions", with the winners of each region advancing to the Final 16. In 2007, the regions were named after the 16 fursuits with the most nominations received in the nomination period; in 2008, they were named after the 16 teams in the 1973-1974 NHL season.

Voters are encouraged to vote based not only on the appearance of the suit, but also on its character, individuality and performance.^[2]

The 2007 tournament featured 176 participants and ran from June to September of that year. Frazzle won the tournament, beating second place contestant Sophie Cabra by 13 votes. Takala and Lucky Coyote rounded out the top four. Over 250 people voted in the final rounds.

As of July 2008, the tournament has entered its third round, with 64 of the 295 participants remaining. Due to the sheer size of the entries, a preliminary round was conducted in April to narrow the field down to 256 competitors to fit the bracket,^[3] with the finalized bracket starting near the end of that month.
