Flinch Ferrex

Kes "Flinch" Ferrex (born February 9, 1988, in Portland, Maine, U.S.A.) is a female black-footed ferret furry.
Flinch is a moderator in the role-playing group Feralys, a moderator for the Furry Teens forum, and the creator of Furry Mustelids. With the help of Felix Softpaw, Flinch also created the Military Furs forum for current and retired military members who are furries.
Flinch is a firm believer that real furries aren't just role-playing characters, but that they are people who feel a deep connection and bond with animals. She is strongly against beastiality, zoophilia, and keeping wild animals as pets; practices that are accepted by many other furs. She is a passionate conservationist and Animal Welfare activist. (Note that Animal Welfare is different from Animal Rights). Flinch does not attend conventions as she feels she has little in common with the majority of furries.
After graduating "Boot Camp" in May 2007, Flinch is serving in the United States Army as a Veterinary Technician, working primarily with the Military Working Dogs. She is working on a degree in zoology and has a special interest in carnivores.
