The Florida Furs are, as the name suggests, furry fans located in the state of Florida.
In past years, most of the furry activity in the state was centered around Orlando; as time has gone by, the furry fen in Jacksonville, the Tampa Bay area, and South Florida have become more organized and active. There are also groups of furs in Gainesville, Tallahassee, and Pensacola, as well.
The major meets in Florida are the Megaplex convention in March, and the Furloween Halloween party in October.
