Furnation.ru (Фурнейшен.ру) — the biggest on-line gallery in the Russian Furry Fandom, created special for russian-speaking users. The gallery supports not drawings by itself, but also music, stories, poetry - with main theme of furry. Founded in 2006 by Bert. The Furnation.ru is built on the Web 2.0 technologies - including the AJAX and targeting as social group of furry-artists, musicians, writers and just watchers, who's stalking for some interesting. Users can watch by each other, add into favorites artworks, vote and comment artworks, track blogs, etc. Also there's PDA version optimized for mobile devices.
Users is ranking by moderators by visual quality of artworks (separately by type).
- Users with first rank (Amateur) doesn't showing in the main feed of artworks. Such users limited artowork's uploading to 3 per day with size limited to 1024*1024
- The artworks of users with second rank (Regular) is showing in the main feed. The users with this rank has an upload limit of 6 artworks per day and size limited to 1600*1600 pixels.
- The users of third rank (Master) is showing in the main feed and doesn't have any limitation nor in the uploading nor in the using artwork theme. For example there's may be some offtopic, non furry art etc.
Furnation also have a Jabber server named as `FurTalk` using their own Furnation accounts. All friends of users adding to the Jabber roster automatically.
The Furnation.ru engine always 'in-progress'. The features is added as they're requested.

The main idea of Furnation, as a russian analogue of the FurAffinity behold to Stormwind, one winter morning 11 Jan 2006. Just in this time admins of y!Gallery prohibited the publication of furry art. The first concept of Furnation assumed the functionality just like y!Gallery.
29 March 2006 the furnation.ru domain has been registered and work at the engine has begun; Some days later Bert posts announce at the Fur Affinity journal[1]. The Grand Opening was at the Bert's server 26 August 2006. The Furnation began to receive the first furries.
19 Jan 2009 Furnation.ru introduced the user ranking system.
24 Jan 2009 Launched Jabber server.

For registartion user required to enter keyword whic is located in the Rules. The keyword is dissolved in the text, so find it just press Ctrl+F is impossible.

The Furnation engine utilized 25.000 lines of PHP code. 4000 lines of JavaScript code. For Feb, 2009 Furnation owns:
- 21 thousand artworks
- 2000 users, leaved over 290 thousand comments.
- 3500 journals
Each day Furnation has 10000 per day average visitors [2]
From moment the project has been launched till present it has over 21 millions hits[3]
In the June, 2007, the server has been upgraded and for this moment configuration are:
