Furry Academia is a paper written by BlindWolf8 as an essay intended to explain the were and furry fandoms or communities to the general populace. It was written for the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
The paper is 10 pages, double spaced along with 1 page of citations. The paper is written in MLA format.
The paper was originally titled "Animals in Society" and was written for BlindWolf8's Humanities (HUM) 211, Section 104 class: The Pre-Modern World in his Spring 2006 semester (end of Sphomor year) at New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Due to the content and nature of said college course, the paper is more heavily weighed to comparing the were and furry fandoms or communities to Native American culture, mythology, and beliefs than a straight focus on the communities themselves. The paper may be revised or rewritten completely in the future to be more focused, as an academic tone is now not required.
