Giles Gourry EuDraco (born 1985) is a sea-green, water-affinity dragon, located in various parts of the southeastern areas of the United Kingdom. He is also the founder of The EuDracos Non-Profit Organisation, a semi-personal website that has been known for its neutral and expansive, yet outdated FAQ concerning the furry fandom. Since connecting with a human in 2001, he has been providing an active voice of analysis and criticism for the UKFur community. This has led to a wide response, from praise on his neutral, scientific language, to reverence as a result of his former, jaded past.

EuDraco takes his furriness very seriously, and has been concerned with the ambiguity in the UKFur community. His main talent used to be as a pencil artist, with regular artwork appearing through his website. However, studies towards a Masters degree at the University of Surrey has set this talent on hold. In the meantime, he exercises his literary skills with occasional entries in the story archive, Yiffstar; his latest story being a follow-up to his 2005 work, Chemiluminescence.

With a somewhat introverted attitude to the UKFur community, he no longer attends HantsFur meets, and rarely presents himself to LondonFur meets. Online, he frequents the online world of Tapestries MUCK, and is open to most of the common Instant Messaging protocols. He plans to be an aspiring chemist once he graduates, and is keen to promote the furry fandom to those who have felt unsure about the fandom itself.

A bi-annual report is available from him every January and July, in his LiveJournal.

[edit] April Fool's Day 2008

At 5.21am on 1st April 2008, EuDraco posted an entry on his LiveJournal, stating that he was to take over the organisation of future LondonFur meets as a result of agreement between himself and the retiring organiser, Rapido [1]. Specific letters through the journal entry were italicised, which when collated together, spelled the words 'April Fool's Day'. Most viewers commenting highlight this hidden feature and did not take the statement officially.

As a result, Rapido was forced to release the name of the genuine future organiser, Spargue, with the additional statement:

"...this person has been a constant source of unrest within the londonfurs due to previous incidents, and unfortunately this person has tried to trick you all into a lie, therefore myself and spargue have had no option to but to ask him not to come to a londonfur meet again until such time as he can prove he will no longer upset and deceive members of our community!" - [2]

This punishment, despite being later dismissed as a returning April Fool's joke, was met with criticism alongside the statement that had started the issue. Spargue has announced that EuDraco is not banned from future meets, but his actions have led to a reduction in respect.

At 5.21pm on the same day, EuDraco issued a formal apology on his LiveJournal.
