Helping Pawz

Helping Pawz is a costumed character performing group that volunteers for a variety of not-for-profit groups and charities mostly around Vancouver. The group has members from both areas in Canada as well as a couple members from the State of Washington, USA.
The Helping Pawz Association is a registered not-for-profit Association in the province of British Columbia, Canada. The expenses for operations of the Association are paid by the members and in part by the proceeds of the annual Howl-o-ween party sponsored by the group.

Founded in 2002 by Matt, Jeremy, Brad, George and Brad, the Vancouver chapter presently has 13 active members and participates in more than 10 events in that area each year. The Vancouver group has a few dedicated spotters and over 15 active characters that are played by the performers at events.
