Jenks, aka Jessica D Hardy, (born February 24, 1986) is an artist who has been involved with the furry fandom since around 2001. She is primarily a fantasy illustrator, with her works mainly consisting of traditional means, focusing on mixed media as of 2007.

She started as a player of the online role playing game Furcadia in 2001 where her first character’s name was Night Mistress. As time passed it took two more name changes Tough Cookie & Once by Chance before she finally settled on Baby Jenks chosen from Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned which was later changed to "Jenks" for its simplicity and the dislike of being called "Baby". The name was originally chosen from the series for a Vampire RP as she wanted a lesson known female Vampire.

Jessica was born in Windsor Ontario and lived there for 21 years. She has since moved on to live and explore other cities and towns and has yet to find a permanent location.

Jenks is the main Fursona used. Her appearance consists of pale skin and light blue eyes, slender form with tawny hair. She has large black feathered wings protruding from her back. She resembles a lion or a sphinx.

Other characters occasionally used are: Random Furre, Night Mistress and Tragic Rabbit.

Another character of Jenks is Hoir short for "House of Ill Repute" which is also the title of the dream created by Jenks for Furcadia.
