Jim Doolittle (aka Aureth) is a native of northern Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a major in agronomy and currently works in the agricultural support industry. He currently resides in central Iowa with his wife, JenWolf, whom he met through Lake Area Furry Friends, of which he is a founding member.
Jim is the founder and former owner of Flayrah and also formed the now-dormant Cornwuff Press, which published the writing anthology Morphic Tales, as well as Micah's short story collection Alysha's Fall in 2000. He was also the editor of Fuzzy Logic, an online fanzine.
Jim was also a founding board member of Midwest FurFest, first serving as artshow director for 2000-2001, and then serving as convention chairman from 2002-2003. He served as publications director for another two years, before taking a break from running a department. He remains on the board of Midwest Furry Fandom, Inc., and continues to volunteer as artshow staff at the convention.
