Joe Strike, a writer and artist resident in New York, his place of birth, is a longtime participant in furry fandom.

He is a member of Rowrbrazzle (though currently he contributes only rarely), as well as a prolific poster to alt.fan.furry. As a freelance writer, he reports on animated TV shows and movies for the New York Daily News and the entertainment industry website Animation World Network. [1].
