[edit] Fursonas
Kashidom's fursonas were divided into three main characters, illustrating the three aspects of hir mind:
First, there was Kash, this was the main character from youth. Then came Nick, since it was discovered that sie was a hermaphrodite. And last added, was the bright-colored Jen, which had first shown up in Second Life.
[edit] Kash
- Full name: Kashidom Daheo Nenakh - pronounced casheedom d'heyo nenak' in UK English
Kash was an idea, based on some of the physical similarities between werewolves in books and Kashidom hirself: having a unibrow, heavy hairgrow, equal fingers, etc. Later, the idea of Kash was reshaped thrice until finally resulting in a pagan, bright-gray werewolf, while some of the features were modified or grown out. The first images appearing of Kash were rather violent and filled with hate, disgust and death-loving towards fellow students and teachers. This was the result of a distorted childhood, being forced into a male-patterned lifestyle. Later, when Kashidom was expelled from school, peace was found and the images started to turn into a more friendly and nature-loving light.
[edit] Nick
- Full name: Nick - pronounced nik in US English
Nick is merely the result of a colored image of a green-ish male wolf colored by Kashidom, right before the diagnosis of hir hermaphrodite gender orientation. The nickname "Nick" was created in an instant, being a derivation from hir real name, to suit the character at the time.
[edit] Jen
- Full name: Jenna Berry - pronounced gen or yenna berry in US English
The creation of Jen must be the most noticeable change in Kashidom's history as an artist. Between all the gray and white, suddenly the bright pink, utterly hyperactive puppy appeared. Jenna was created in 2005, when Kashidom had first tried out the world of Second Life as Ret Gretzky, an account sie got from a friend back then. Later, Kashidom created hir own account, which was then -and still- used throughout the rest of Second Life.
Jen is now Kashidom's main character.
[edit] Artist
Kashidom uses the variety of artist communities such as deviantART, Fur Affinity, SheezyArt and Furry Art Pile to expose hir works to the broad public of the internet. There were also a few auctions on FurBid. Kashidom's work is mainly in the digital categories, because sie uses the computer nearly all the time for any applicable purpose.
Even though sie has a broad collection of art materials, it's rare for Kashidom to upload any real media pieces. This is mainly because sie rarely works with these media and techniques. In the past, before sie had a tablet, Kashidom made nearly all hir artwork in real media with the use of pencils, aquarel paint and ink. There are also only two pieces on canvas, that were created by hir hand: one given up, the other preserved from finishing because it was "too nice," according to hirself.
Kashidom has worked with a broad set of programs, tools and media which results in a wide range of experience. Learning new techniques and styles has always been a key procedure in hir art, sometimes resulting in a dramatic change from one work to the next. This is most noticeable when looking at hir website designs and interfaces. In one night, sie can change a basic design into a professional design or redo an entire design image. This is another result of hir compulsive behavior towards hobbies, which often leads to hours of physical inactivity and sometimes even days without getting up, sleep or nutrition.
[edit] Styles
In the past, Kashidom has had a lot of art styles, copying anything sie liked, regardless of content or copyright. Now sie only copies parts of the images instead of the images as a whole and sie draws everything from own hand. Sie didn't get into trouble for the copying of any styles as to date.
Also, Kashidom loves to work in different themes, styles and poses. However, sie refuses to do anything related to mating, yiff or other sexual content. This is not because of the lack of interest, sie rather likes to see it from other's hand.
[edit] Hobbies
Kashidom often appears as a "smart ass," knowing little about a lot of things and lots about a few. This comes from the endless interest in learning that sie has. Sie likes to learn each and every hobby that sie can, hoping to one day know enough to live without nearly any help from others.
[edit] Starflight
The interest in going this far with hir learning obsession has come from a strange angle: StarFlight[1], a movie about an atmosphere plane, which was designed to fly to the edge of space. As the plane hit a shred of a rocket, it got a hull puncture and lost orbit. When a board attendant tried to transfer from the plane to a Space Shuttle, he forgot to push the "lock" button to release the door before closing it, resulting in disaster.
With this error in mind, Kashidom is always trying to prevent a disaster by being one step ahead of the trouble that awaits hir. Sometimes sie fails in this and then studies the subject thoroughly until sie knows every detail about why it went wrong, preventing this from happening in the future.
[edit] Computer nerd
Kashidom is often found around computers, either repairing or using them. Sie is a high-level script programmer and manages to do all of the tasks sie needs to do on a computer to restore, fix, patch or wipe it from unwanted software.

[edit] Development achievements
Kashidom has been a member of a few JavaScript/HTML-based Operating Systems projects on the internet, but as time passed these projects were dismissed or given up on. Most of Kashidom's co-developers of such projects were focusing on internet-based Operating, while Kashidom was more interested in client-based Operating. Sie developed almost all of hir programs for Windows-only purposes, because this was "the most insecure Operating System available at the time, allowing us to write nearly anything we wish to execute, resulting in a fully functional application," according to Kashidom.
[edit] Freelife
Hoping that one day sie would get a release finished, Kashidom also started working on hir own Operating System, codenamed Freelife. This project was given up not very long after starting development.
The basic engine was created and on top of that was a version entitled Freelife NP, where "NP" stands for NewProgram edition. This was named after a website-based program sie made, that was displayed to the public of a developer forum. The feedback on NewProgram was so positive, Kashidom immediately started working on a new version, with more powerful treats and abilities. Sadly, both versions were lost in data-backup error after a systems crash and were never recovered. However, the result of the Freelife project does still exist.
[edit] Pine
Even while Freelife NP was still unfinished, Kashidom soon began developing another website-based Operating System project, codenamed Pine OS, which was similar to but more powerful and complete than Freelife NP. Even though more powerful and with a better finish, the only completely designed and built application was its installation program. The project still stands until today and is closed from the grand public. Until further notice the development has stopped entirely.
[edit] Computer linguistics
After studying simple HTML through various websites[2] and books, Kashidom learned a lot more computer~ or programming languages. Sie prefers to know everything about one language until the point where advancing is impossible, before moving on to learning the next one. Sie only learns what sie needs, to reach hir goal and complete the application sie works on. If an application is beyond wasted, it is often seen that Kashidom starts all over with the work, trying to build it up in a different way, to complete it after all.
Having an enormous patience, Kashidom has reached a lot on the field of computers. Sie is able to build, install, setup and configure a computer from scratch. Kashidom often forgets to bring hir data storage media to the computer's location and is forced to then write the applications anew in the fresh installation, before execution is possible. This mostly applies to modifiers, scanners and wipers, which sie makes frequently, to increase stability and functionality of Windows systems.
Here is a list of the computer languages known to Kashidom:
- Web languages:
- HTML: HyperText Markup Language, the standard for website creation
- CSS: Cascading StyleSheets, modifier for HTML layout and style
- JavaScript: Scripting that interacts with the client-side browser
- ASP: Advanced Server Pages, Windows-ISS server-side scripting
- PHP: PHP Hypertext Preprocessor, server-side scripting and HTML preprocessor
- System languages:
- MS-DOS: Also referred to as Batch, terminal interactive scripting
- JScript: JavaScript for Windows Script Host, strong and solid system scripting
- VBScript: Visual Basic Script, runs under Windows Script Host and works like JScript
- VB6: Visual Basic, visual application writing language
- Q-Basic: Quick Basic, low-level DOS-application programming language
- Registry Editor scripting for Windows
- INF and INI scripting for Windows
[edit] Raising a company
Mantha Designs, the non-profit organization that Kashidom owns, was originally named Howling Wolf Company.
[edit] Howling Wolf Company
The Howling Wolf Company was founded October 29, 2002. Under the Howling Wolf Company, Kashidom and a few others released their projects and works to the grand public of the internet, much like an online community such as deviantART, only smaller and far less popular.
The Howling Wolf Company eventually grew out, adding website design and general design to its productions. The intended mini-community grew out so much that it became too large to stay on a low-space server and had to move to a bigger one. Better hosting and an own domain-name[3] were a must-have and were purchased. Unfortunately, the service provider was too expensive and was canceled again after nearly a year of service.
[edit] Mantha Designs incorporated
On July 14, 2006 (earliest appearance of an image,) Kashidom had renamed the company to Mantha Designs. This was because of financial instability by a company named Howling Wolf (without the Company at the end,) a similar name to that of the Howling Wolf Company. This caused the fund raiser of Howling Wolf to contact Kashidom about payments to bills that were never made. To finish this off once and for all, Kashidom decided to rename the company in agreement with the other members, which caused the majority of them to leave the former company.
Mantha Designs then needed a logo, a website, domain-name[4] and more users and customers. Of course, thanks to being new, no one knew about Mantha Designs at that time, thus no customers or users joined and funds were down, so everything was taken down once again. Until this date, Mantha Designs is only an idea with a name, an icon and two people supporting it.
[edit] Fruitcake Magazines
Recently, Kashidom -along with hir friend Miqu- has founded another company, to publish various magazines. One of them is Fluff Magazine,[5] featuring news and updates in- and outside of the furry fandom as well as a comic named "Fluff!", following the random life of Jenna and surrounding characters.
The name Fruitcake refers to two mutual characteristics between both Miqu's character Maria and Kashidom's character Jen. It is based on the common expression of "being a fruitcake" ("being crazy" -which in turn points at their insane hyperactivity.) It also refers to their fruity-flavored perfume.
