Kat Smith is an artist (born 30 April 1986) and operates the webcomic Floppity (started in October, 2006). Her main inspirations are said to come from Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and David Hopkins' Jack. She currently lives in Vancouver and is dating Mat Sherer of Badly Drawn Kitties. Kat first appeared in BDK on October 24, 2007.

In addition to Floppity, Kat has been producing a lighthearted Jack spin-off called "Underworld Academy" (also located here for those without an account on the Jack boards).

As of May 2008, Kat has officially taken over as artist of Badly Drawn Kitties.
