Khaz

Khaz (born 1987) is a furry from Ontario, Canada. He is currently a student at the University of Waterloo.

Khaz's chosen fursona is a brown Timber Wolf, most often anthropomorphic, but on rare occasion feral. In anthropomorphic character, Khaz still maintains a digitigrade stance, and most characteristics of a feral wolf. The specific details on his appearance are not solidly defined, and subject to change. His personality is mostly kind and compassionate, often emotional, yet just as often calm and contemplative.

Khaz's first artistic pursuit was to learn to play the piano, which he was inspired to do in the year 2000, and has continued since. Since becoming a furry, he has diversified his attempts at art, taking up writing poetry and lyrics in 2005, then moving to writing stories in early 2006. His first serious attempts drawing started in early 2007.

Most of his original artwork, whether written or drawn, can be found on his FurAffinity account. The only major exception is the furry novel he is currently writing, which will hopefully be complete within the year.

Khaz can be found most often on his own forum, The Den, but is also active on Furaffinity. He also has accounts on Second Life (as Khaz Tenjin), Furcadia (as KhazTheWolf), and Yiffstar (as Khaz), though these are rarely used. He is not the Khaz listed on VCL.

Khaz's main presence in the past has been on Furry2Furry, the forum that introduced him to furry, and which he later moderated for several months. He resigned as moderator in April 2007 for personal reasons.
