Lay Off the Furries, OK? is a LiveJournal entry posted July 22, 2004 by J. Brad Hicks, a.k.a. "The Infamous Brad," an Infernal-American and frequent science fiction convention attendee. The entry is notable because it is a well-written and level-headed defense of the fandom by a non-fur. Hicks steps up to defend the fandom, stating that furs are eloquent with symbolism at best, and "not hurting anyone" at worst.
