Megaplex 8 is the eighth incarnation of the Megaplex furry convention. The theme is "Toyland! Christmas in July". The convention will be moving to a new date, occuring on the weekend of July 24-26, 2009.[1]
The convention will move back to the Orlando area after a lack of success in two years in Jacksonville. The convention hotel will be the Radisson WorldGate in West Kissimmee, located on US 192, one mile to the west of World Drive in the tourism area south of Walt Disney World Resort. The negotiated room fee is $89 per night.[2]
The guest of honor will be BigBlueFox.[3]
