MelSkunk

Melissa "MelSkunk" Smith (nee Drake, born 1979) is an artist in the furry fandom. Her fursona is a blue skunk with eyeglasses (which was at one point winged). She has been a member of the fandom since 1995. She is currently semi-inactive in the fandom artistically, but has been working on join portfolios with other fans. She has also done some writing in the fandom, most notably in Fang, Claw & Steel, and designed the WikiFur logo.

MelSkunk has been active at a number of cons. As well as having done security for Anthrocon, she frequently hosts various tutorials in different artistic and literary areas, such as at C-ACE and Feral!, and is occasionally asked to speak about fandom-related subjects at regular conventions, most recently a horror convention in Toronto. She is Canadian.
