Mephit Mini Con

Mephit Mini Con (also known as MMC) is the third largest furry convention in Europe (behind Eurofurence with which it shares some lighting equipment and art panels, and RBW). The convention's official language is German, its controlling organization is FurCon e.V., and its chief organizer is H'Lven.

Around twenty furs attended the first Mini Con, held at Andreas' apartment in Rüsselsheim, Hesse,Germany over the May Day weekend of 1998.

28 attended the meet in 1999 at the Falken Jugendheim in Seeheim, Hesse near Frankfurt.

The location stayed the same in 2000, but the attendance rose to 35.

A full 40 furs attended in 2001, causing the organizers to look for a new location for the following year.

The fifth Mini Con took place from 25 to 28 April 2002 at Lorelei Rock near Sankt Goarshausen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany with 69 attendees.

The sixth Mini Con took place from 1 to 4 May 2003 at the same location with about 95-100 estimated attendees.

The seventh Mini Con took place from 6 to 9 May 2004 at the same location. This year's con T-shirt was the first not to be white.

The eighth Mini Con took place from 19 to 22 May 2005, once again at the same location as MMC5. The theme was "Infinity."

MMC 9 took place from 4 to 7 May 2006 at Kirchen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany near Siegen with about 200 attendees. The con took place at Freusburg Castle, the same location as Eurofurence 7.

MMC 10, themed "Project Evolution", was held once again at Freusburg Castle from 17 to 20 May 2007 with about 200 attendees.

MMC 11 is scheduled to return to Freusburg Castle from 8 to 11 May 2008.^[1]
