The Naga is a mythological creature of Hindu origin. Nagas (the female version of which is a nāgī or nāginī) are typically described and displayed as half-human and half-serpent in both literature and art.
Today, in Western pop culture, Nagas figure as minor topic of art and literature. In the furry fandom, nagas tend to figure as less of a popular character for fursonas in comparison to other mythological creatures, such as dragons, minotaurs, centaurs, satyrs and kitsune.
