Nicona Shadowwolf

Nicona Shadowwolf (born 1970) is a fursuiter who lives in Colorado, United States. His fursona is a Timber Wolf. His mate is a White Tiger named Snowqueen Tigerclaw.

[edit] Introduction to the Furry Community
Nicona's first introduction to the Furry community came after watching the Fur and Loathing episode of CSI, though he didn't think much about it at the time.
It wasn't until several months later, after researching the community on the web and finding out what a furry really was, that he discovered how much his interests had in common with the community in general. Nicona recognized himself as a furry in October of 2007, though he feels that he has been a furry most of his life.

Nicona is an amatuer photographer mainly using an Olympus digital SLR camera. Nicona's main subjects of interest are animals (both wild and in zoos) and nature.
Nicona is also a volunteer docent at a local zoo, where he and his mate spend much of their time.
[edit] Conventions
Nicona attended his first con, Rocky Mountain Fur Con, in May of 2008 with his mate and his son. It was during this con that he decided that he wanted to be a Fursuiter. To date this is the only con he has attended.
[edit] Fursuit
Nicona started construction of his fursuit (based off of his fursona shortly after Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2008 and completed it in August of 2008. The suits first convention debut is planned to be at Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2009, although he does wear the suit at times while volunteering at the zoo.
