Pack

Pack may have any of the following definitions:

1. n. The family/social group of certain predatory animals, particularly wolves and certain other canids;
2. n. Any group of animals working as a team on an activity, such as hunting. For example, even though the hyena family/social unit is called a clan, a group of hyenas hunting together would still be called a pack;
3. adj. Able to carry cargo, as in a pack animal. This refers both to domesticated animals, e.g. horses and llamas, and to sentient animals that are able and willing to work in that capacity, such as chakats;
4. v. To have something powerful or intimidating. Most often refers to a weapon ("He's packing a 357 Magnum"); sometimes used to mean other things, such as a vehicle's engine or a male sex organ.
