Religious conservative

Taken as a whole, furries are an exceedingly progressive group. The demographic can be partly explained by the fandom's young average age, by the breach of traditional values coninciding with embracing furry's new and unusual culture, and by the character of high-volume Internets consumers as a whole. Further, the predominance of homosexuality, bisexuality, the popular but incorrect perception of zoophilic interest, and the general acceptance of open relationships drive many religious individuals away from the fandom.

Outwardly religious conservatives are a rare breed in the furry fandom. While rejection and active spurn aren't entirely universal, the label does stick once applied and - being unusual - the label becomes the fur's defining characteristic.

Some active outwardly religious conservatives are:
