RivFur

RivFur was a large-scale furmeet held from July 6 to 9, 2007 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was organized by FlameDrake, Nikita Wolfpaw and Foxy Malone. The name "RivFur" is derived from the Brisbane River that sprawls through the city.

Friday, July 6:

• 4pm BBQ at South Bank Piazza. Fursuiting allowed. Cost: Free, but BYO food/drink.
• 7pm Transformers movie at South Bank cinemas. Movie choices to be made on the day. Cost: $8 adults, $6 students.

Saturday, July 7:

• 9am trip to the Australia Zoo. Cost: $45 adults, $35 students.
• 6:30 dinner at Southside RSL, Mount Gravatt. Ears and tail not permitted. Cost: $7-15 meal with buffet.

Sunday, July 8:

• Morning left free for personal recreation. Suggestion of mini golf.
• 7pm Laser tag at Woolloongabba Lazerforce. Fursuiting allowed. Cost: Free, pizza can be supplied for $7 each.

Monday, July 9:

• 10am chocolate making classes at Mount Gravatt PCYC run by AussieHusky. Cost: $10.
• 4:30pm bowling at Greenslopes AMF Bowling Alley. Fursuiting allowed. Cost: $15 for two games.

[edit] Merchandise

• RivFur 2007 t-shirts were designed by FoxyMalone and incorporate the RivFur logo on the back, plus a mascot design by MistyStriker on the front. Both the colour of the t-shirt and the ink can be chosen from a list. T-shirt cost was $25.
• For those who sent an RSVP before a certain date and provided a character description, miniature chibi con-badges were drawn and coloured in a collaborative effort by MistyStriker and Bingo Dingo
