Taren was born on June 25, 1985, and lives in Tempe, Arizona. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in computer science and his continuing postgraduate studies at Arizona State University.
Taren has been involved with furry since around MFF 2004.
Taren's character is a golden western non-anthro dragon, most notable for his green eyes, white horns, and black claws. Taren has other dragon characters, but rarely mentions them. Taren also has several non-dragon characters that are strictly for fursuiting.
Since September 2005, Taren has been involved in fursuit creation. He specializes in sewing tails, especially long dragon tails, and customized fleece hats.
At Anthrocon 2006, he and Sema JayHawk debuted the furry fandom's first Siamese fursuit, Snuggles Rotterdobe, a combination of a Rottweiler and a Doberman. Currently, he and Sema JayHawk work together to build fursuits.
The character Zenius is one of his personal fursuits.
