Techno C. Procyon
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Techno C. Procyon, also known as (the) ROBOCOON, is a cartoonist, painter, and musician. They were born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. In recent years they've also lived in Wisconsin and Washington. Their primary influence is within the anthroid and postfurry movements.Techno identifies as pansexual and transgender (androgynous FtN(M)). The character should be referred to using gender-neuter terms, but if a binary choice is absolutely necessary, male will do. Canonically, they are genderless and typically circumvent the use of pronouns altogether. They are in a monogamous relationship with Dragonmaw.
Techno's official "fursona" and namesake is an anthropomorphic creature nicknamed a "robocoon", which resembles a hybrid of raccoon, cape fox, fennec, and rough collie characteristics. The key elements of the body are massive ears and a disproportionately huge tail, along with a set of 16 "doc ock" style tentacles along either side of the spine. Other approved forms are a feral/quadrupedal body of the same creature and a bottlenose dolphin with similar markings and accoutrements.
[edit] Current Internet Activity
Techno currently administrates The Arkonviox Network and its IRC server, and has been involved with the Ecco The Dolphin fandom since 1998. They spend most of their time in a private channel on the network, as well as the official channel, #Darksea.
They were also located on EsperNet from 2003 until 2008, when a general distaste for the admin team caused Techno and their friends to transplant themselves on a private network. Past activity of note includes moderating/cofounding #furry on EN, as well as #eonplanet on Mediadriven, and #furrypub and #robofurry on FurNet (IRC), and several more across these and other networks.
[edit] Conventions and other RL Events
Techno attended AnthroCon in 2006, 2007, and 2008, Midwest Furfest 2007 and 2008, All Fur Fun in 2008, and Steel City Con from age 10 until age 18. They typically do well in the Art Shows of all three cons, usually submitting varied works on wood and canvas featuring feral/quadrupedal animals, ocean life, and dragons.
