TexanFurs.org
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
TexanFurs.org is a website geared toward better organizing local furmeets through the use of a Google Maps API style mash-up. Events organized by date and location, along with URL-base navigation, make the site easy to use. RSS feeds make finding upcoming furmeets simple, without resorting to checking mailing lists, web forums and LJ communities.

[edit] Status
While still under heavy construction, the prototype is usable, and all that is required to have an event added is a quick email to the admins. Upcoming improvements include user profiles, automatic email notification of furmeets within certain distances, galleries, etc.
[edit] History
TexanFurs.org was briefly known as TexasFurs.net, however was changed to better differentiate itself from a previous forum of the same name.
