YARF!

YARF! (also known as The Journal of Applied Anthropomorphics) was started by Jeff Ferris in January 1990, and was one of the most popular and well-known furry print 'zines for many years. Other people involved editorially during its early years were Lance Rund, Dave Bryant and Kris Kreutzman. It published comics, book reviews, text stories and pin-ups from dozens of artists.

YARF! won the Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Fanzine in 2001 and 2002. Although it is technically still in production, the most recent issue has been #69, dated September 2003.
